Prashant Sharma

Prashant Sharma is a visting postdoctoral fellow from the American Museum of Natural History and a member of the Wheeler Lab (Invertebrate Zoology). As a collaborator of the Extavour Lab, he works on the evolutionary developmental biology of Chelicerata, specifically the arachnid order Opiliones (harvestmen). His current project addresses the patterning of the chelicera, the namesake appendage of the chelicerates. In 2015, Prashant will establish his own independent laboraotry at the University of Wisconsin Madison.
