Having grown up in Massachusetts, Alice graduated from Lexington High School before going on to study at Washington University in St. Louis. While majoring in computer science, she is also pursuing a path in medicine, driven by her interest in the overlap between the two fields to improve patient care effectiveness in the future. With an eight-year-long love for the flute, she enjoys playing in her spare time.

Alice joined our lab as a summer student in 2024, working with Chandra Kuyyamudi on evolution of oskar gene function across Drosophila species.
