Arnon obtained his Ph.D. from the the Department of Philosophy at Harvard in 2010, and also obtained a Masters degree in OEB for work in the lab during 2008 and 2009 on ovariole development in Drosophila.

In philosophy of science, his works focuses on the connection between explanation and idealization.

After leaving the Extavour lab, he was offered a Polonsky postdoctoral fellow at the Van Leer Institute in Jerusalem, Israel.

He is currently an Associate Professor in the Philosophy Department of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
