In the summer of 2025, Max joined our lab as a rising sophomore and pre-med student at Connecticut College double-majoring in Neuroscience and Italian Studies. As a summer intern in our lab, Max’s research was focused on germ cell mechanics. In his spare time he trains year-round and competes for Conn’s varsity cross country and track teams. Max also enjoys playing the clarinet, creative writing, and being outdoors. Max was supported in his work in our lab by HHMI’s Summer Undergraduate Research Program (SURP).
