As a student at Boston College High School, I discovered my passion for biology and chemistry early on, which led me to my first lab experience: studying Drosophila genetics and blood at UMass Boston in the Girard lab, where I crossed mutated flies to understand how different genetic markers reacted to mutations in blood. In my free time, I like to walk my dog, play soccer, and run track.
